The women’s hall is equipped with a modern ventilation system that spreads across all the kitchens in the room like an octopus. Each kitchen features an automatic sink and state-of-the-art electric appliances. Here, the European woman begins learning to cook from scratch. All the rules of a modern kitchen are observed for the students. The girls do not wash dishes by hand or roast meat over an open fire like in the Middle Ages. However, learning to slice bread without injury and quickly prepare salads is something that can be taught.
